I met him when I joined Hewlett Packard Service Desk. I was assigned to sit beside one of the team lead - Shiau Ring.
I always seen this fair, decorous guy with "Aaron Kwok" hairstyle came to our department to look for Ring. Either go lunch with her or helping her to move/carry stuff.
At first, I thought he was Ring's bf. But, it got clarified soon from other colleagues.

The second time I saw him, he is with our CEE - Lee Ek. It is lunch time as well. I was about to go lunch with colleague and I met Lee Ek and this "Aaron Kwok" head in the lobby, while waiting for HP shuttle bus.
Lee Ek introduced him to me. Lee Ek said his name is Nawruz.
I start thinking to myself..ehmm..this Malay guy look like Chinese wor..
After some times, I heard from Wendy, Nawruz is a Chinese and he has a Chinese Name - Ong Hon Wong. But still, Nawruz sound so "Malay" for me. blek...
****************************
I didn't really deal with him until I got a printer issue from a fussy user. I approached Wendy for help as I knew that she was close to the print admin - Nawruz. However, Wendy ask me to deal with him directly. She gave me Nawruz extension number.
I felt very nervous to ring him up, as Im a shy girl. But,no matter how I need to get some assistance in order to solve the fussy user's printer issue. I take a deep breath and dial the extension number.
He answered the phone and ask politely what can he helps. The friendly voice comfort my nervous motion. I explained the issue to him.
He told me he will call the user directly. I was stunned at one second, the next thing cross my mind was "Hooray!!! I dont have to talk to that fussy bitch anymore!!"
I was totally amazed with the kind assistance he provided.

He added me in Jabber Messenger after he solved the printer issue.
Jabber is an instant communication tool provided by HP and the communication is monitored. So, we can only chat on work stuff in Jabber. What a boring conversation..
Hence, we exchanged MSN id and started chatting in MSN for personal stuff...
That's how I get to know him in person...and that's how the "chemistry spark" happened between us...
every morning i take over an hour to get to my office. and every morning, i stare out the bus window looking at the world go by. once a while i catch a glimpse of some stragglers trying to catch the bus or wait another 15 minutes for the next.
a few times, i noticed an attractive lady approach the bus and board it. seems to me that she
works in the same company. funny how i've never seen her before. i noted that she had a cute japanese-styled haircut. she looked kinda tanned too.
one fine day, i finally got to know her name. we were introduced by Ring. god bless her. her name was li wei. nothing much came out of it except i now knew her name. fate loves playing games. i later shared a shuttle van with her to the carpark. the kicker, i took the wrong shuttle service. mine should have been headed to KL Sentral and not the carpark. i guess i should have said "hi", but she was busy texting on her mobile. probably to her boyfriend, i guess. best not to interrupt people.
our first real encounter was over the phone. she had some print issues and the user was breathing down her neck. i told her to assign the case to me and i would take care of it. she later added me in MSN and that was when we really starting communicating. she sounded
friendly and we started going for lunches with her best friend, wei lin. i must thank wei lin for being there to break the ice. we ended up having lunch alone a couple of times.
my first token of love to her was delivered in a simple package. it was a porridge. she had fallen ill you see. kymberly would later recall this as the Porridge Love Story and the name stuck. I was nervous, but one thing i learnt from past experiences is to be a man. she greeted me
with a smile.
that my friends, is how i wooed my wife. who said flowers are necessary? it's the thought that counts. so here begins our Porridge Love Story together.
