December 20, 2004...Noel and Krisel met at FEU - East Asia College. Krisel was the Administrative Assistant of the Marketing Department, while Noel was the newly hired Graphic Artist. Noel would describe Krisel as the "mataray type" and Krisel would look at Noel as the "very innocent person". They started it off as friends and later became lunch buddies. They became so close that their friendly actions were already misunderstood by their colleagues. They even have this moment wherein they throw paperclips at each other during office hours. After office, Noel usually stays late at Krisel's work to accompany her on her daily overtimes. That's when other people start questioning their true friendship. But to Noel and Krisel, they know that they are only friends.

In June of 2005, Krisel encouraged Noel to pursue his graduate studies. They both enrolled at the University of Santo Tomas (UST). Krisel took MS Advertising while Noel took up MA Fine Arts. They were even classmates on two of their minor subjects. They get along all the time that they see each other 6 days a week ( 5 days in the office and 1 day at school).

Since then, Noel and Krisel have this nightly conversation on the phone. Even though they see each other at work, they still talk 5 hours straight on the phone (Note: That's everyday!). Noel became Krisel's personal adviser and mentor and Krisel became Noel's personal art consultant.

There was a time when Krisel seemed to be very jealous when Noel tried to court someone in their office. Noel ignored the idea because it might affect their friendship.

When Krisel resigned in September of 2005, things have changed between them. Noel felt something he didn’t know before. He discovered that he was already in-love with Krisel. One night, they’ve talked about their true feelings for each other and the rest was history…
