Inspiration/Details
I'm still gathering ideas for my wedding (i.e. stealing). Here are some that I found, some have already been incorporated into the wedding planning and some are just ideas. As I make more plans this will be the "Details" section but I'm not creating a whole new page so this is it. :-)
Color Palette
We went back and forth selecting our color palette until we finally found we loved on wedding blog The Perfect Palette.
Pictures of the dock
I am hoping for a sunny day to grab some pictures of my new husband and I on the dock. Here is one that I like. We also want to take a few on the swim dock at Shephard Park with random beachgoers in the background.
Trolley
We booked the Albany Trolley to transport the bridal party to/from the ceremony and around the lake to take pictures as well. I'm pretty excited to ride down the strip in Lake George in my wedding dress. It's nice and roomy inside too (unlike some claustrophobic limos I've been in)and reasonably priced.
Flower Girl
There's only one flower girl and she's a novice walker but I know she'll look as cute as this by next summer. Obligatory shot of cuteness in front of the lake.
Favors
Our wedding will be in the Adirondacks so I love these chair favors/escort cards.
Present Canoe
I don't know if anyone will bring presents to the wedding, much less enough to fit in a canoe, but this is awesome and in keeping with my lake ambience so it's stolen.
Cigar Roller
I know it would please the men in my family greatly to have a cigar roller at the Cocktail Hour. Okay I sorta want one too. Especially if he looks like this dude.
Area Map
I love this area map and want one like it...but I'm not shelling out $2 each for them. Anyone crafty think they can make the file for me for a reasonable price? Please let me know.
Menu
I really like how they used Adirondack Chairs on these menus. Yoink. Consider this idea stolen.
