Looks suplada, but actually nice once you got to know her. She is mushy * habitually drawn to rockstars (read: bad boys – si Loel yun!) * dreamer * music junkie * self-confessed drama queen (iyakin!)* believes in fairy tale * constantly in a yo-yo diet * hopeless romantic * hates confrontation * emotional * longs to be pampered * shops when bored * loves the beach! She doesn’t know how to cook but very malambing. Love nya sobra si Loel at si Jarred!

Serendipity..

Serendipity..

Jap and Loel met in Immaculate Heart of Mary Academy (IHMA) where they both attended high school in their home province in Oriental Mindoro. Loel was in senior year while Jap was in third year when they were introduced. He was then courting a friend of Jap and Loel was befriending Jap to be close to his “crush”. :)

In some twist of fate, Loel found himself courting Jap instead. But as expected, Jap turned him down. In short “basted”.. hehe.. Eh kase naman ang ambabata pa nila.. Jap was 13 then and Loel was just 15. Besides, hindi nya talaga type ang kakulitan ni Loel! :)

Fastforward to 2002…

After almost 10 years, Loel & Jap found each other again when they attended a birthday party of a common friend. From getting her number to frequent late-night calls to movie marathons and coffee sessions, Loel & Jap finally became an item in January 4, 2003. It was a long and complicated journey but it was all worth it.

In April 2003, while they're hearing mass to celebrate the Holy Week, Loel promised to marry Jap. Loel again proposed to her during one of his vacations in the Phils and in 2005 he came to visit her with the ring! After two years they finally set the date and went on to the traditional “pamanhikan”.

Who would have thought that these two will end up together? No one believed they could make it. They’ve got nothing in common and they’re as different as day and night. The distance that they have to overcome didn’t help either (Loel works in SG while Jap stays in Manila). But destiny has its own way of keeping the love they have for each other. Despite the distance and their differences they managed to stay true to their promises.

And the rest is history.. :)

He said..

In my lifetime, i must have done something good. Because He sent you to love me and take care of me.

She said..

In my lifetime, i have fallen in love twice - with the same person.
