This is the crazy bunch we have selected to join us for the days festivities, aren't they all so sexy!!!!
You already know my story
My story is way to long to tell :-)
As the brother of groom Ozer gladly accepted the position of best man. Though they are very different in personality they are much the same at heart.
Candice and I met once upon a brake up. With several events happening that summer four years ago we quickly became BFF's. :-) We loved to be random and see where the night would take us, always spontaneous and adventurous. Candice has this amazing personality and everything she touches becomes beautiful. She taught me to carry myself with confidence and to not get hung up on the little stuff. She gave me a back bone that I never seemed to have before I met her. Every day is a new beginning for Candice and I can't wait to see what is next in her journey!!
Ozgur and Steve met through the trade of fixing things that once ran. Their passion for speed and cars has helped their friendship grow over the years.
Kelly and I met through introduction of our boyfriends at the time. We quickly hit off and became work out partners. Each work out session also served as a therapy session to complain about the men we were dating. These later turned in to Thursday night Mex sessions once we met Anita. The boyfriends came and went but the friendship stayed. All this started almost 6 years ago and I can't imagine a day without Kelly and her beautiful family in my life. In one year Kelly can accomplish more than most people will in five years. She is a driven, successful, level headed person, and a wonderful mom. I admire Kelly so much, and am so thankful to have her as my Matron of Honor. The things that we have experienced could fill a book, and to summarize it all into one paragraph is impossible.
Kelly's wedding is what catapulted me to start Stacy K Floral. She has constantly believed in me and pushed me to become the person I am today. I owe her the world.
Phil and Ozgur met at Greece Athena and quickly became best friends. With all the ladies talking of the new guy with the great accent Phil just had to see what all the fuss was about. Little did he know that they would quickly bond in their love for ladies as well as fixing things and become friends for life. In Phil's photo we are displaying his strong passion for Lobster as well :-)
Rhett and Ozgur met at Greece Athena as well. As you will begin to see a trend here they shared a love for anything on wheels, or tracks or that can be driven and go fast. Oh and let's not leave out the Mustang's. To fit in with this gang you must have a passion for Mustangs....preferably the years of the FOX body mustangs. (Many women have came and went that don't appreciate this style but these guys can't have enough of it) If it comes to the mustang or the lady you guess who they would pick!!!
See a trend here. I could never choose between these three girls. They each have amazing qualities and bring out a completely different part of me. I love them each as a sister and am so proud to have these three women as women of honor at my wedding. They have all had such a huge part in the journey.
So Anita, well we met through Kelly. They both worked together and Kelly introduced Anita and next thing you knew it was a weekly dates at Mex to have no more than three margarita's and chat the night away. Having lived with her for a small amount of time we really got to know each other very well. We share similar interests in architecture, design, colors and fashion. We can talk for hours until David interrupts :-) Anita is a driven intelligent women. She has worked so hard to get where she is and I am so proud of her. We have also shared many random experiences..probably the most memorable are the days at Kelly's Bachelorette vacation and the days after. I hope to build many more memories with Anita and her husband David and am so thankful to have them both in my life.
Antony and Ozgur met at you guessed it Greece Athena. Antony was always mistaken as Ozgur's younger brother. This proved to be a vital benefit to Antony's social life with the use of Ozgur's mistaken identity. And also Mustang's (fox of course) snowmobiles, dirt bikes, four wheelers, etc. You get it right, they like fast things.
Brian and Ozgur met through Brian's, wife Gina. They too shared a passion for speed, cars and all things mechanical. Ozgur and Brian quickly became friends,
Gina was a long time high school friend that could truly appreciate Ozgur's struggles of coming to Greece Athena High school during the Jr and Sr years. Gina later did a research project on Ozgur focused on Diversity and still has that document (if you ever want to read about it, just ask her). Gina has made it a point to share this inspiration in her current classroom because she now teaches young children in the same situation as Ozgur was. What better honor to have great friends who are always there for you, but that also use your life experiences as an inspiration to teach future generations.
My future sister in Law!!!! I am so excited my brother is marrying such a wonderful person. Her love for people and caring way is what makes Erin such a beautiful person. We are honored to have her stand up in our wedding and I (Stacy) look forward to gaining a wonderful sister that I know will make my brother a very happy man.
As the Brother of the Bride it was a must have to include Billy in the bridal party. Though Billy is the younger brother of Stacy he has always played a protective big brother role. When Ozgur first met Billy, Stacy prepared him for what could be ahead. When he met Ozgur he quickly approved not just because he is a great guy but because he shared his love for cars.
Autumn is Stacy's much younger best buddy and the daughter of Kelly Sample (Matron of Honor). Stacy watched Autumn from the time she was six weeks old until she was a little over a year. She still loves to hang out with this little genius and enjoys every moment they get to spend together. She can be a great pick me up on a not so good day!!! When she was asked to be a flower girl she was full of questions about the position but then gladly accepted under two terms
1: her brother Mark had to be the ring bearer. (not a problem)
2: The dress needed to be big on the bottom and not scratchy
I agreed that we could probably meet these simple demands :-)
Mark the son of Kelly Sample (Matron of Honor) and Doug Sample (Usher) is what evolves from generations of perfection (as Doug puts it.) He is a little ham with a smile that melts your heart and will hopefully make it down the aisle on the big day. Even if he doesn't he will be great for some giggles from the crowd.
