Both Pat and I consider ourselves blessed to have been surrounded by such loving and supportive family and friends over the course of our lives. Unfortunately, some of our loved once have left us. We would like to take this time to pay our respects for those who we have lost.
Pat's father passed away May of 2006 after a long fight with Cancer. John was a devoted employee of Environment Canada with a true passion for his career and his hopes for a greener, cleaner tomorrow. His second love was his family, followed by his adoration for the game of golf.
Pat's beloved grandmother passed away shortly after he completed highschool. She was a devoted mother and grandmother to her large family. Pat felt a very special connection to her.
Heather's father passed away in September of 2008. He was a retired Air Force major, with a passion for genealogy, technology and his family. He and Heather were very close.
Heather's mother passed away suddenly and unexpectedly in early April, 2010 due to complications of her cancer. She was a retired nurse, having worked with both the Air Force as a captain and at the Civic Hospital as an OR nurse. She had a great passion for glass fusing, 5-pin bowling and spending time with her girlfriends. She was Heather's Best Friend and will be greatly missed by everyone who knew and loved her.
Heather's maternal grandparents. Both have since passed, but were very devoted to their grandchildren. Heather has fond memories of visiting them in Regina, Saskatchewan, as a child and into her teens.
