Morgan's early months were exquisite occasions for us. The years are pretty cool, too.
This was one of those priceless evenings. Maggie and I were engrossed in playing a video game we kept trying to get Morgan to amuse herself with stuffed animals, that wheeler thing you see in the background, anything so we could watch TV. Morgan disappears into the bedroom and comes back decked out in my hat and shoes (wonder how she knew not to touch Maggie's shoes) and she danced and pranced around for us--knowing that would clinch it! We laughed so hard we were rolling on the floor. Needless to say, we stop playing the videogame and Morgan got our undivided attention. We got her to take a photo or two, but couldn't get her to stay in her outfit long enough for us to pull out the videocamera.
Morgan's mom, Traci, doesn't really like to take pictures. So, I am pretty sure I am clinging to her so tightly to hold her still while Maggie snapped this one.
We had fun- relearning how to change diapers, all that stuff. Morgan was such a happy baby though. It really was a labour of love.
Morgan has been at the center of several of our efforts to bring an end to academic discrimination on the basis of race and gender. Check out some of the postcards where she is prominently featured.

Morgan used to surround herself with as many stuffed animals as she could fit into her bed around her. Now, she has Trixie and Trixie has her
