Though you can barely see PW here, that arch didn't keep our neighbors who passed by from getting a good view of our endeavors
Maggie seemed to have been on a mission to get as much of her canvas covered as possible as quickly as possible before I borrowed her ideas. But, I saw that brown first.
Initally, Lori had one ground rule: we each had to work with our backs to each other's canvas. Luckily, she gave us both some nice word cues.
There seemed to be a good reason to have hearts, rings, the best colors, and some sort of unity symbols from the beginning
We were rolling along at a nice pace-- or so we thought, but a while into our "creativity" Lori explained that she normally gave corporate executives, etc about 15 minutes to complete a canvas. Whew! We were a tad behind that kind of timeframe. Well, more than a tad.
Wow! See that pink triangle? What about that heart? The rainbows??? The conjoined hearts? The panthers and unicorns?? Well, maybe the panthers and unicorns aren't actually there. But, they do sort of explain the nice synergy between us. So, thanks to Diemut-- you will see panthers and unicorns!
Lori did relent and let us (or Maggie at least) get a glimpse of work in progress for this photo opt.
Maggie got my favorite color solidly in place on her canvas. What a woman!
There is something about broad sweeps of color that connects us to the awesome community of friends that surround this celebration and is tied to the big picture and the heart of things.
There are details in this big picture of love, purple, unity, connection, and green for growth and renewal.
Maggie got really excited when she had finished her canvas and I was still on my knees! Ran right over to take that picture while she could.
Well, just a little pressure as Maggie got it all done a bit ahead.
Yes, that's a big "P" and yes, there are "M's" too-- maybe not as many p's and m's as Maggie-- but I got it in there.
