Our Story

About Jennifer

I was born in New Orleans, LA. We moved alot due to my dad being in the army but finally settled in Alabama. I graduated with my associates degrees in Accounting and Business in 2003 from Calhoun Community College and am currently attending Athens State University finishing up my BS degree in Accounting. After this is completed in Summer of 09 I will transfer to the University of Alabama in Huntsville to get my Masters in Accountancy and sit for the CPA exam. I am working for an accounting firm in Huntsville, AL and love my job and coworkers! My most important role is being a mother to my wonderful daughter Tallulah and to my furbabies Max & Vinny.

About Matthew

Matthew was born in Canadaguia, NY. He later relocated to Ormond Beach, FL and was there for 10 years until he made his move to Huntsville, AL. Matthew works as a machinist in Athens and loves his Vinner and Tallulah. He enjoys reef aquariums and motorcycle racing.

How we met

Matthew and I met online and instantly clicked. We talked over the phone for awhile before meeting in person. We have been inseperable since our first date.

The Proposal

Matthew and I actually went ring shopping together to find the perfect engagement ring. He insisted it be a square cut emerald which you think would be easy to find but it took a forever! Matt said that queens in England wear emeralds for their engagement rings and that that is what I deserved. :)

Even though we picked it out together and brought it home together he wouldn't give it to me. =( He waited and officially proposed on Sunday, June 8th on the way home from church.

My Wedding Band

My official wedding band. I decided that I wanted a little more diamond then what we had first planned. I'm getting two of these. :) One for each side of the engagement ring. He spoils me :)

Well, Matt finally picked out his wedding band and he went with something totally different then was planned! I like it. I think it's unique and suits him very well :)
