As a family we love food, fashion, music and fine art so we thoughtfully sought out individuals who we felt represented us. Our vendors are all artists in their own right. Wherever possible we connected with small businesses and individuals whose work we respected.
From the beginning of our wedding planning journey, Jenni felt that photography was the most important aspect of the wedding. We interviewed countless photographers, and the perfect fit was a hop, skip and jump away in Brooklyn!
Syd London holds a deep reverence for the potential power of the photographic image. Her passion is story telling of subcultures that are often ignored, misunderstood or mis-portrayed. She strives to communicate the visceral moments of what is ultimately a shared human experience. Syd is Brooklyn based, working as regular contributing photographer to Time Out NY and Curve Magazine. More photos and info can be found at www.sydlondon.com. To contact Syd directly for booking, licensing images or purchasing prints email: email@example.com

In case you didn't know, our family LOVES food! Karen and Jadon enjoy cooking and Jenni enjoys eating! For our caterer, we chose a restaurant where we know the chef and always experience delicious Indian cuisine. All the Indian food will be vegetarian, and there will be options for all persuasions (i.e. vegan, gluten free, nut allergies, and anything else!).

Laurie Rhodes Photography
Karen and I were beyond thrilled when we WON a FREE engagement session with Laurie Rhodes!!! We found about her beautiful work through Jenni's colleague, and we immediately contacted Laurie about the contest. It was so much fun to work with Laurie and have our idea of a Holi shoot brought to life. We are very grateful to have these meaningful photos of our little family being silly and throwing abir! Karen and Jenni stumbled across this magical shoppe while visiting Philadelphia this year! Everything about this store is fabulous - designer gowns, stunning vintage jewelry, and mint condition vintage! Jenni fell in love with one of the store owners, Johnny! Johnny and his team will be creating Jenni's bouffant veil for the wedding and finding a pair of vintage gloves! Johnny and his partner also own Philly Cupcake and Philly Chocolate
Nandini was recommended as a mehndi artist from our dear friend, Aneesa. We are thrilled to have Nandini doing henna for Karen and the guests at the Mehndi Ceremony! She is a very gifted artist. Check out her website for some of her jewelry designs.
For hair and make-up, Jenni wanted someone with an expertise in 1950s beauty. Kastania came highly recommended from a local pin-up photographer.

We LOVE dessert. Karen and Jadon bake cookies, cakes, pies, cinnamon rolls, scones, and Indian sweets on a regular basis. It seemed natural to work with the Head Cake Decorator at our favorite Whole Foods in Yonkers. The Cake Decorator is FABULOUS at designing beautiful cakes, petit fours, cookies, and more! We can't wait to see what he comes up with for our Hindu, vintage theme!
