A little bit into Randy's side of the family!
Mom and Dad
My parents have been married since November 1970...that's going on 38 years!!! And they have lived in the same Louisville, Kentucky home since 1980, the year I was born.
Besides the rest of my family and friends, I am who I am today because of my parents. Being the youngest child, they always gave me the same in return as what they gave to my sister. They have helped me in just about every way imaginable. I don't know what I would have done or where I would be without them.
I've always considered my dad as one of my best friends and I'll never forget the days when he would play ball with us in the neighborhood. In my eyes, he always seemed like the neighborhood dad that us kids could always confide in.
My mom's biggest contribution to me has been discipline. The early days of taking out the garbage on time and running the vacuum cleaner has taught me so much. She has always inspired me and pushed me to motivate myself for bigger and better things.
Above all, the thing I value most about my parents, is that they have always stood by me 100% and always supported me even if they didn't agree with my personal decisions. I love them both dearly.
Whether she believes it or not, I've always looked up to my older sister. Despite always getting on her nerves and making her mad (what little brother doesn't do that), our relationship is still growing today.
Ever though she is without a doubt the most outspoken person in our family, I've always thought of Mandy as a role model. It seemed like she always made the right decisions at the right times. One could never tell her that she rushed anything because she always made it work.
She has been married for more than 4 years now, has a beautiful home in Fisherville, Kentucky, and is a tremendous pet lover. I look forward to the wonderful times that she and her family will spend with mine and Mallorey's.
