Our Story
Raymond:
I always wonder when will anyone knows exactly they have find the right choice to be together forever. Is it a phenomenon, sign ,or the number 6 sense? It doesn't take me long to find the answer.
One morning i woke up around 4am and suddenly my mind keep telling me what should i do for the next stage of my life, that is to get married with the girl i loved most. Past memories keep flashing on my mind that a blink on my thoughts to tell me its time to take up responsibility to take care of her.
What I like about her
I like her cheerfulness that will always bring brightness to my days and i know that she will always be there when i need her. I like her for what she is and i hope that this will carry on throughout our life together
What I like about him
The first impression he gave me was: I DON'T LIKE HIM!! Never will I find this guy to be my boyfriend and this guy is NOT my type. He looked fierce or rather arrogant definitely not someone whom you can be trifle with. He doesn't speak much in front of new friends. But once you know him, you will like him. He brings laughter and fun to people around him.
I know this guy will always put me in the first place and will take good care of this family. A responsible, reliable man to his work and family. He is always there when I'm sick, feeling down and everything else when I need him most.
He may not be the dream guy every gal is thinking of but he IS the ideal man I am lookkng for. Dear, I love u.

I didn't expect him to come up with this idea. After 3 years of dating, I was wondering whether or when we will be finally become united.
Our story begins:
Our birthdays falls on the month of Dec. This year, on 25th Dec, we were at bukit panjang plaza doing some last minute shopping for x'mas gifts and our birthday exchange presents. (p.s. my birthday was over and he had not even prepared for my present yet.) :(
The very day, I was asking for my x'mas present when he suddenly gave me my birthday gift. I opened the bag and realised that it was a ring box inside it. I got a shock of my life as I didn't expect this (I was expecting for my x'mas present coz that day was x'mas). Anyway, I told him that nobody gave this kind of present while I was in my pyjamas and about to sleep. I didn't want to accept as I was not prepared for it.
On 27th Dec, he told me that he had reserved a place @ Lawry's. I kinda of suspected that he may be proposing. The place served delicious food and we were really enjoying ourselves. After our main course, he excused himself to the gents. My heart was pounding away as I kept thinking about the romantic scenes in the movies where the male lead was walking in with a bunch of roses, etc. But I was wrong.
While we were chatting halfway, I saw him smiling @ one direction. I can't help but suspecting that something may have been wrong. I brushed it aside as I thought it may be another wishful thinking. Dessert was served and we were eating when the captain told us that something was wrong with the Strawberry English Trifle. He then took it away.
After a while, the captain returned with a much bigger trifle and said that this was to compensate us for causing us such inconvienence. We were, or rather I was shocked to see such a big trifle as we were too full to finish it (mind you, it was VERY BIG). Nevertheless, we still ate it.
Halfway thru', I saw something covered in aluminium foil. He took it out and asked me to uncover it. It was a ring box. OMG, a ring box inside the trifle! I opened it but it was empty. He took my hand all of a sudden and said me why was the ring box empty, why the ring was with him and why was my finger had nothing on. He then slipped the ring onto my finger. All these were being watched by the chef and another captain. I felt happy yet embarrassed. I did not know what should I respond or what's next cos I'm not sure whether he's really the one for me or I'm the one for him or whether we were ready.
No big diamond ring or kneeling or flowers but words of responsibilties touched my heart. He said: "Now I'm not alone anymore, I have a family to take care of. Every year, this date, this table, we will be coming to Lawry's for our anniversary unless this restaurant closes down."
