The story begins.......
Lancera aka James, Jeslyn's ICQ pal, invited Jeslyn to Monster Que at Le Meridian Hotel on 15 Dec, for a game of pool as part of an outing to celebrate her bithday.

When she reached there, James was already playing a game of pool with 2 other friends. He told her that he'll teach her how to play after he finished his game and her to chat with his ex-girlfriend (Dorcas) while waiting. After his game, James introduced his 2 friends (Richard and Ivan) to Jeslyn. He told her that they are December babies too, so he & Dorcas will be celebrating their birthdays together.

After the pool session, they went for prata at Bugis and then to Lavender Food Court for dinner.

Before they bid goodbye, Richard asked for Jeslyn's hp no. That night, Richard started sending messages to Jeslyn and the courtship begins ^_^

Two years later in June 2004, Jeslyn won a 3 days 2 nights trip to Genting Highlands in a newspaper lucky draw but all her friends were busy with their holiday activities. Thus, Richard volunteered to accompany her for the trip.

The couples were wandering around the indoor theme park trying out the rides, but Richard had other things in mind..... the proposal. He had the proposal ring in his pocket and was looking for the right ambience to make his proposal.

His opportunity came when they came upon the Rio Float. The area was deserted with only the vendor at sight. They got into the ride but Richard had a hard time finding the right opportunity as Jeslyn was busy admiring the scenary.

Finally, just before the ride ends, Richard whipped out the ring and said the magical words: "Jeslyn, will you marry me?" It took Jeslyn by surprise so she was unable to reply but kept looking at Richard. It was until the end of the ride when she said: "Yes". Richard was so happy that he almost tripped from the Float.
