Our Papal Blessing
We'd like our marriage to be blessed by the Pope. Since it will be hard for us to visit Vatican, we thought of getting a Papal Blessing. What is Papal Blessing? It comes from the Vatican and is a piece of parchment paper hand-painted with calligraphy, flowers, and different sketches of the Vatican. It also has the reigning Pope's photograph, official raised seal, signature and the blessing. We're priviledged to have our own Papal Blessing....
Our Motif
Our Motif: Pink, Brown and Cream. This isn't our first choice but we really can't resist these colors. We love the combination. Pink is very feminine, brown on the other hand is so masculine and most of all, cream...plays to both colors....
Our Monogram
We're not creative so we already thought of not having our own monogram. Though I'd love to have one, I didn't insist. I met Gie Jimenez thru w@w , we call her "Reyna ng DIY" because of her creativity. Seriously, she can put up her own business because of her wedding paraphernalias. Our HONEYMOON!
Our dream honeymoon is to spend it in Palawan. We just can't resist the beauty of Palawan. We requested for several quotations from different travel agents and was shocked with what was offered. Our HOME
We have spent months in choosing a place to live in. House and Lot...of course we'd love that but that's too expensive if we buy one in the key cities of Manila. We definitely can't live in Laguna, Cavite and Batangas because we both work at night. It's been a fruitful day. We went to Nuestra Snra De Gracia to check it out and make a reservation. We just love the church! It's beautiful! When we asked the church employee if our chosen date is still available, we were so happy to know that we're the first couple to make a reservation for April 2009. Yahoo!!! Choosing our Wedding Date
It wasn't hard for us to choose a date because we only had 1 date in mind...APRIL 18. This is definitely non-negotiable. April 18, 2004, the date when I said YES after months of courting.
