Directions - Wise Rd Closed at HWY 65!
We found out yesterday, 9/22, that Wise Rd is closed at Hwy 65 and will be for a year!!!
You can still get to the property three other ways not including the dirt road way. Please see updated directions.
WARNING FOR MAPQUEST USERS: Our site is easy to get to, but the computer doesn't seem to know that! Brewer is a dirt road, so if you use GPS, and it directs you to Brewer, select "detour". On Mapquest, choose "Avoid" or use the links below that I've set up.
From Lincoln
If you use this Mapquest Link, choose Avoid Hwy 65
Because West Wise Rd is closed at HWY 65, you will need to use Nicolaus Road.
From Hwy 65 at the McBean Clay plant, head west on 7th, making the first right, H St, and that road becomes 9th and then Nicolaus.
Follow the West Wise Rd Detour signs
Turn Right on N Dowd.
Turn Left on W Wise going 2 miles more to 7535 W. Wise Rd on the left hand side.
OR
From Hwy 65 you can either take Ferrari Ranch to Joiner or Sterling Pkwy to Joiner. Joiner will take you to Nicolaus.
Turn Left on Nicolaus.
Turn Right on N Dowd.
Turn Left on W Wise going 2 miles more to 7535 W. Wise Rd on the left hand side.
From Downtown Sacramento
Hwy 99 is down to one lane but this is normally faster than I-80 to Hwy 65
From Roseville
Allow 35 to 40 minutes travel time from the I-80 Interchange
Take I-80 East toward Reno
Merge onto CA-65 N via EXIT 106 toward LINCOLN/MARYSVILLE. 8.9 mi
Turn RIGHT onto STERLING PKWY. 0.3 mi
Turn LEFT onto E JOINER PKWY/E LINCOLN PKWY. Continue to follow E JOINER PKWY. 2.3 mi
Turn LEFT onto NICOLAUS RD. 3.5 mi
Turn RIGHT onto N DOWD RD. 2.0 mi
Turn LEFT onto W WISE RD 3.5 mi
7535 W WISE RD is on the LEFT. 0.0 mi
From Sacramento Airport
Take I-5 South to 99 North
Take the Catlett Rd. Exit to the right and turn left at the stop sign, and then right on Catlett.
Turn Left on Pleasant Grove Blvd
Turn Right on Marcum which becomes Nicolaus
Turn Left on N Dowd Rd
Turn Left on W Wise Rd
Drive 2 miles to 7535 W. Wise Rd on left hand side.
