My original plans for 3/9/10 did not go as I had hoped, but that did not matter…All that did, was that she said yes…
We first had lunch at Qdoba, around 1230pm or so in Towson, (right by the applebees where we had our first date). Kimmy wanted to watch the TU dance team practice around 4pm, so until then we decided to go walk around the mall for awhile.
Once we got to Towson’s campus we walked towards the Media Center (where we had class together).
I wanted to propose to her outside of the Media Center but there were smokers outside the building when we got there, so we just walked right on by and went into Stephen’s Hall where the Dance Team was practicing.
Kimmy went and talked with her coach for a little while, then we watched the girls perform one of their dances. After that I had my opening. I took her outside and said, “So I’ve been meaning to ask you this all day,” and she had noo idea what was going on…
I slowly got down on one knee, pulled the ring out of my shirt pocket, (keep in mind this is like SUPER slow motion, as I did not want to fall down and make a fool out of myself).
And I was so nervous that the only words that I could get out were, “I love you, Will You Marry Me?” and that leads us to now..
