WOW...less then a yr to go!! And to think this engagement was a little longer then the typical year. I just recently have been feeling a lil touch of stress! But gotta try and remember 'I'm to blessed to be stressed!' LOL! So, we now have two travel agents we have been working with. One on each side of the border! Due to the requests we have had for possible payment plans I searched out for a couple of TA's to make things a little feasible for those guests....

Well, we have finally sent out our save the dates and funny how people are thinking that these are our invitations. I guess they really aren't common practice in Canada since everything travels by mouth esp in Edmonton! But so fare most of the reception that we have gotten has been quite positive asides from the fact that quite a few people still think it's too far in advance to plan for a trip like this. Friends and Family Save the Date Letters!
So here is the finished product! I had to reorder my Save the Date magnets since we had to change the date that we had initially picked. I know it's a little small but we'll be sending them out soon!!

One of the great things about having a long engagement is that there is no real rush to do everything and we have time to plan without the stress. So Coop left for Curacao at the end of January and isn't expected to be back till the beginning of April. They are already talking about extending him out there till June. He of course doesn't mind since it's about 80 degrees out there and it is white sand and clear blue water! Thank goodness for the internet and Skype! As for me, my contract out...
Step by Step
This past weekend Coop and I had gotten our engagement pictures done by Renee, a local photographer here on the island. The photo shoot went pretty good and we are pretty anxious and excited to see the results! She was great, relaxed laid back, just how we wanted it. Launch of our site!
Well I think we have covered all we have needed to cover at this time to finish this site! We are so excited for everyone to be a part of this time with us! Initially we had included the possible resort we were going to use but we just received an email this morning about another resort that was just a little bit more appealing. Well, until next time!
Ahhh the start of it all...
Two weeks later, this has been the first weekend that we have been able to spend together as an 'Engaged' couple. We are still trying to figure out what to do first and how to start it off. Since Sept 13th, I have been on the Web browsing but there is such a wealth of information! So I had gone to the bookstore this weekend to see if I can start the old school way!
Would you believe that they actually have *Destination Weddings for Dummies*!! So you know I had to buy that!
