Step by Step
This past weekend Coop and I had gotten our engagement pictures done by Renee, a local photographer here on the island. The photo shoot went pretty good and we are pretty anxious and excited to see the results! She was great, relaxed laid back, just how we wanted it. Her husband was great too helping with lil creative, acrobatic poses! =) Once these are finished and we see the final product we will then go ahead with the Save the Date magnets and mail them out to everyone. Intially we had hoped for beginning of Dec but it is looking like it maybe Dec or Jan.
We currently are still debating on the Travel agency that we are going to be using. Its a little challenging right now since we have a lot of guests in Vancouver and Edmonton and here on this side of the border. We are trying to find a place that will accomodate the needs of our guests and make this as painless ($) as we can! I have a couple of online agents in mind that have payment plans for guests just to make it a little bit easier. But have yet to do more research. We are also waiting till the resort has their 2010 wedding packages available to get a better picture.
We have been taking things in stride, just enjoying being engaged and doing the most we can do at this time. Making choices together from rings to the attire of the wedding party to monograms. Coop is scheduled to leave for Vegas Dec 1-10 for work. Then again in February to Curacao for 2 months. He will then come back for a couple of months then I believe he will be back overseas again for the spring for another 2 months. Good thing we decided on a long engagement! Coz it looks like we are gonna need it!
