On Sept 13th/08 we were planning to go up to Vancouver to celebrate Colin and Kathy's birthdays. We had asked the Sams and Jones' to come and join us, coz we figured the more the merrier. My brother, Lee was also visiting from Edmonton so we were gonna have a drinkfest at the skypad before we hit the club.

So that afternoon Dix and Tye had come over to visit and just chill before everyone had arrived. So just as we are just hanging out , Coop gets a call from Sams at the border stating that he is having troubles getting into the country. So Coop leaves the skypad with very little said , other then the fact that he was there to 'rescue' Sams...hummm a little suspicious huh?! By evening time rolled around we had all gotten hungry and we decided to have a little BBQ. Coop shows up a while after sayin that he had been on his way to the border when they let the Sams' through. HUmmmm??

So a couple hours after Coop arrives the Sams' and Jones' come through. We were all having drinks as we were waiting for the BBQ to finish. The other odd thing was that Dix was still there with Tyeson and her ever so pregnant belly at 10pm?! Hummmmm....

So as we all started getting ready to eat at the table, I notice everyone gathering around and hear someone say " Get the camera, Get the camera!". next thing you know Coop has my hand and gets me up from the table and at that moment he didn't even say anything, I knew what was next! Tears start gushing!!

Everyone is all at the edge of their seats and im in complete tears! Coop does his little speech as Braden and Sams are in the back being all loud and i'm sure wiping their tears as well. Coop gets on his one knee and asks me to marry him! He flips open the ring box and I start crying even harder!! LOL!

Of course I say yes! The moment could not have been more perfect! I had my family and our close friends with us!

Come to find out Sams and Megs had gotten detained at the border because the Customs officers needed to see the receipt of the ring! Luckily, the Jones's were in the vicinity of the jewellers. They had to go the the jewellers, get the receipt and fax it to the Customs officials!! Talk about a story to tell our children!

For all of you that weren't there heres the video! Make sure you pause the little music box you are listening to! You have to listen pretty closely to hear him coz Sams and Braden are being their normal selves, LOUD!! LOL!
