next on the list is..... the wedding invites! stay tune and keep a lookout in your mailbox! before that, this is the design for our wedding cakes (from sweetest moments) card distributed on our 过大礼 (guo da li), aka b etrothal day. after close to forty-five minutes of clicking, ctrl-t, ctrl-+, trial & error on photoshop, we finally settled on this design! i really hope relatives and friends will like the cakes and pastries as well as this specially designed card...

we've finally bought our bed! say hi to serta massachusetts! initially, we were thinking of starting basic and getting a cheaper mattress since we have friends who can help us get dunloppillo mattress at staff rate. but thanks to the pre-christmas sales that made serta mattresses so affordable at 1/2 price + 10% discount! it's too good a bargain to miss, so we decided to spend a little bit more for a more comfortable mattress that is used by the hotels. I guess buying a bed...

our wedding bands are ready! i know it's rather early that our wedding bands are ready, haha! but we were a little 'kiasu' about this as we wanted everything to go smoothly and according to plan. we've gotten a combination of rose gold and white gold ring with names and date engraved :) to custom-made a pair of ring, it takes three months and you have to give some additional buffer period just in case anything goes wrong at their production side. and yes, what can go wrong,...
hi hokkaido, hi korea!
we've made a big-ticket purchase! say hi to hokkaido and korea... it's the chan brothers's travel fair, five stars tours's crazy sale travel fair, dynasty travel's dynamic travel fiesta, sa tours's celebratory fair, asa holidays's preview travel fair and ctc's summer sales bonanza fair. with so many reknown travel agencies having travel fairs at the same time, it simply tire us out! we spent the entire weekend afternoon running around chinatown people's park complex level...
6.5 hours of struggles
after waiting anxiously for three weeks, our photos are finally ready for selection! we took a total of three hundred and fifty nine photos! gosh, i didn't even realized that we took that many and i guess this explains why my cheeks hurts. we were stuck at the bridal shop from 12:30pm to 7:00pm a total of six and a half hours and we surrendered with seventy seven photos. yes, 'surrendered' because we were both brain dead by then and didn't really want to squeeze our brain juice to cut down...
the journey since proposal
it has been a year since our engagement! wow! things are starting to shape up for the big day even as we find ourselves increasingly time-strapped. i have to admit it has been not easy trying to strike a balance between work, family, friends, couple time, planning and personal time. i guess things could be much easier if we just had a simple do. but being young and fuelled by passion and creativity, we want our day to be extra special...
one day 'celebrity'
