Our Story
How we met:
Ryan and I have known each other since 4th grade. We were in the same 5th grade class together and I had a crush on him but he never knew. We also both ran for 6th grade President and I won! He was very upset that a girl won over him and now it is his future wife! : )
We have been mutual friends since 4th grade. In our Junior year of High School we started to have the same group of friends. Summer going into our Senior year we started hanging out alot because both of our Best Friends were dating. Ryan was trying to get me to date one of his friends but then he asked me out on a date. We went on a few dates and started hanging out alot. One night when he took me home he asked me to be his girlfriend. Ever since that summer night we have been together.
We have experienced so much together in the 6 years that we have been together. We have gone on many river and Vegas trips, Cancun twice, cruises to Mexico, Australia, and much more!
We love each other so much and are best friends!
Our Engagement
On November 28th Ryan and I went to Paradise Cove in Malibu Beach for lunch.
After lunch we went for a walk on the beach and as we were walking we came across a bottle in the sand. I did not want to pick it up because it wasn't ours. Ryan picked up the bottle and said there is something inside. So I read the message and this is what it said:
Love, Honor and Cherish
These things I would glady do
Each and every day
As long as I had you
I would be your strength
I would shield you
From hurt or harm
There is nothing that I wouldn't do
To walk with you, arm in arm.
I would take you from today into eternity
If you will grant me just one thing
Give me your heart, be my wife
And proudly wear my ring.
He then got down on his knee and asked me to marry him. I was so schocked and couldn't believe he was proposing. I just started crying and hugging him.
He had Ryan Johnson and Todd hiding taking pictures and video taping it.
