There is definitely something in the water
Ok, I think it’s time that I addressed this on here – 2009 appears officially to be ‘Year of Engagements/Marriages/Couples’.
I am thrilled to announce the most recent couple to do the ‘cool’ thing and make it official – none other than one of my beautiful bridesmaids, Margaret and her ‘fiancé’ Jeff! I am elated that she is so happy and wish them nothing but the best in life – I can’t wait for the wedding!!

Day at the park…. In the rain!
So I promised I would update and here I am! This morning we went to our meeting at the Rideau Club to discuss all the fun preliminary details of the wedding and we think that it went really well. It’s nice to get a chance to sit with everyone that will play a huge part in how the wedding will pan out, share ideas and experiences – all in all, really great start.

Well true to form, I’ve been MIA, but I’m back!! We have just been so unbelievably busy lately! Doctor’s appointments, Vet appointments, Softball, Physiotherapy and trying fit some time with friends in there, it feels like it never ends! So I have been a little vacant but it's not my fault, my neck gave up on me last week (well a while ago actually but it really kicked the bucket on Thursday in the wee hours of the morning) and I spent the last little bit looking like I was practicing for a debutante ball every time I moved. I TOTALLY FOUND A DRESS! How exciting!! Today, my mom and I ventured out to Alliance Bridal Salon in Moose Creek and we had a great time!! Mom tried on some MOB dresses to start getting an idea of what she likes and there absolutely were some contenders. I tried on about 10 dresses and knew number 3 was the one, as soon as we saw it on, mom loved it too! It is so exciting to have found it, but so terrible that you have to wait so long for it - not to mention so long to WEAR it!...

Today is not only ‘just’ September 12 th , 2009 but also today marks three months since we finally got engaged. It only makes sense that on such an occasion, we start documenting the extensive planning that will be our wedding. To be fair, I often stumble upon wedding blogs that are quite interesting to read, so who am I to deny the masses. I hope someone, somewhere enjoys following us through our process as much as I have enjoyed following others. Let’s get this going…
