Natalie and I have known each other most of our lives. Growing up, we literally lived down the street from each other. We really became friends in college. It was so good to have another witness on campus. We had some amazing times together and are bonded for life. Nat is what I refer to as my ride or die friend. She's there when I need to cry and when I need to throw an egg or two. Ha ha. Natalie was around for some of the best memories of my life and first experiences that are etched in my mind (WPB - Flirts, "I don't know what to do Nattie!", ha ha ha). I stood up for her at her wedding and now, I'm so proud that she is going to stand up for me as I enter this new and amazing stage in my life. She is my best friend, my sister and indelibly imprinted on my heart.
This is my best friend. We are only months apart in age, and have been close all our lives. He has been a very good friend, cousin and influence on me, probably more than he knows. We have had alot of good times over the years, and it has been great growing up with him.
Kim is like the friend EVERYONE needs to have. She has become one of the best friends I've ever had! Her laughter and sense of humor are my lifelines. She has the purest heart of anyone I know. We've spent countless hours just talking about life, our goals, our spirituality. We help keep each other on track and I love that whenever she gives me advice is always bible based. She supports me in everyway, never judging. I've never had a friend quite like Kim. We've shared countless memories. Giving each other advice, crying with each other - drinking our sorrows away ("One Shot glass! WHAT!!" ha ha rem that Kimmy). I don't know where I'd be without her. In such a short time, we've become as close as if we were sandbox friends. Through her, I've learned how to be a better friend. She really is the best! She's my goodest (its our made up word) friend! Loves and Hugs to my girl! Thank you for being a part of this day!
Another younger cousin I have had the pleasure of watching grow up. Instant laughs are coming if you hang around Galen. There will definitly never be a dull moment, as long as he is around.
My big sister! Remember how you were little and you hated to have your little sister tag along everywhere .. ha ha. Good thing we grew up and that changed. Born with the same blood in our veins, we're bonded. But life truly made us friends. Growing up, I always wanted to be like my big sister. She has no idea how great she is. I'm so glad that she is here to share in this wonderful day with me. I dream big for you and pray harder. Go MellyRob!
This is my other brother Rahsaan, or as some people think my "twin". He and I are close in age, but never will you find "twins" so different. He is my first roommate and playmate. We have been through alot together from litte boys into the men we are today. We could tell countless stories of our Rah Production trips, and "midnight maraudin" up and down the East Coast.
Erin and I have known each other since we were like 8/9 years old. I still remember being little girls playing and having fun. I remember she was the girl with the long ponytails - so cute. Over the years our childhood giggles have grown into the loveliest blessing of a friendship. She's always there to listen, share secrets (that no one can pry from our lips!) and help me gain perspective. She's generous without even trying. I can picture us sitting on a porch old and gray still laughing and encouraging each other! Thank you for helping make my "romantical" dreams come true!
Another cousin only months apart in age from me. He is my partner in crime going back to the days in Jersey, and also my travelling partner on many out of town trips. Jamarl has also been a good cousin and friend to me, and fellow Knick fan.
My Memi - My sister from another mother. We've known each other since birth. You know those great childhood memories you have .. well Memi is in most of them! From dancing in the restroom on 43rd street; cartwheels in my backyard; Sherwood pool ("we got $2 to split 6 ways! LOL); walking to Ribault Jr everyday; and running through parking lots because Baltimore is too stinking cold! We have had a blast! We both share a slightly irrational love for the Florida Gators - Go Gators! HA! Memi is my counselor, financial advisor and "silly sucka punk" friend - my sister. Thank you for always looking out for me (even when I didn't know it or know I needed it).
Kyle is my oldest brother. With the difference in our age, growing up I really looked up to him as a second father. He has given me alot of support and advice over the years. We have very similar personalities and thinking, I am just milder, better looking version of him.(just kidding, Kyle)
Tory Tory Tory ... I remember when I first met her, I thought she was so shy and reserved. We barely exchanged hellos at our first meeting. But I realized at some point, she just needed to warm up to folks first. We had some of the best talks and fun road trips ("I need to go the mall, my feet hurt and I need new shoes!" lol rem that in WPB). I truly treasure her friendship and I look forward to many many more years.
If you want to know what I was like 5 years ago, get to know Anthony. He is like the little brother I never had. It has been a pleasure watching him grow up into the man he is today.
Auntie's baby! How in love am I with my niece!!!!! She always makes me smile. And she's always so happy to see me. She loves to sit and watch me put on make up and I love that she can pick out an outfit at 4 years old and make it match! Ha! My little diva in training. She really thinks this is her wedding too .. all she talks about is her white dress! Love my baby!
This is Kyle's son. A little talkative, bundle of energy. A life of the party in the making, with his facial expressions, and wit.
Terell is my 12 year old nephew! He's quite the little gentleman. I was there when his little head popped out into the world. He has the best imagination! He writes these stories that would blow your mind. And I'm sure he's going to love seeing his picture on the webpage. Love you Relley!
Zach is my 9 year old nephew (he'll be 10 by the wedding). He's a joy to be around. I am always smiling and laughing with him. I love that he's becoming quite the lil man - and now a big brother. And he gives the best hugs! Love you Chandler! ha ha
