Suzie was FANTASTIC!!!!

my review might be a little late, but I had my hair and makeup done here for prom and the results and the experience was incredible!

What I enjoyed most was the staff is so friendly and easy to talk to. Also, the work done was so good, everyone in my group loved it!

All I can say is, THANK YOU so much for making my junior prom so memorable.

Most people only care to have a skillful person for their wedding. In fact, it is wrong. The person's integrity and sense of responsibility are extremely important. Without those elements, the skillful vendor can mess up your day. TRUST ME! I got Suzie do my hair and Jamie Huang did the makeup in my wedding. There were many unexpected things happened after I signed the contract, however, they are v. responsible and accommodating. I got the BEST out of what I paid for.

Suzie is obviously a very honest and skillful hair stylist . She always made sure things were right and she was very patient to find out what I wanted for my wedding. Besides, she also gave very frank advice. On my wedding day, I did not provide enough fresh flowers for Suzie. She was very resourceful and she can just use the flowers' petals of the corsage to create an elegant, simple and gorgeous hair. Without doubt, she was very talented and she can easily create different hair style just with the left-over corsage.

At first, the one who did my trial was a very good makeup person but she was in a rush to finish the task. During the first trial, I saw Jamie Huang did a beautiful makeup on someone else. Particularly I was impressed with her serious attitude. Finally, I decided to hire Jamie. She spent hours to do my trial. After that, she requested to have another trial for free. She seemed care the makeup to be perfect even more than me.

Before, the wedding, both Suzie and Jamie also communicate with me. Their serious attitude towards their job make me amazed! Some vendors may not give too much effort if they do not feel the deal is very profitable. However, Suzie and Jamie have entirely different attitude. I think it is just their personality and life attitude. They always want to do their best.

I were very stressful before and during my wedding. Especially my dress had problem on my wedding day. Contrarily, because of hiring Suzie and Jamie, I was very confident for the part they were responsible for. Very responsible !!!!!honest !!!!! skillful!!!!! good price !!!!! I strongly recommend them.

Treasure Island Wedding

I met Suzie in December of 2007 when I wanted to find a local salon for a quick haircut. I not only met a great stylist but she's my friend now as well.

At the time, I lived in the Presidio and had always seen the salon on my way home from work. I'm glad I stopped in because not only is Suzie really cool, she is always working to find any number of options to what you're looking for. I knew immediately that she understood the type of style I wanted (non-traditional, artsy). We talked all throughout our haircut session and I mentioned that I was engaged. She asked me a few questions about what I was doing for the wedding, just the right amount so you know that the conversation hasn't gotten all sales-y and intrusive. And judging by the way she dresses (hip), I knew she understood when I told her I wanted our engagement pictures and eventually our wedding to be new wave 1980s and classic 1940s style (what a mix - but it turned out A HUGE SUCCESS!). She found just the right photographer, among other wedding services for us!

Because of her always helpful attitude and full service approach, I ended up finding through her our engagement and wedding photographer (http://www.tevlee.com) who was amazing, our videographer, our guest book websites, our DJ and almost went with her vendor for flowers but opted to use our wonderful friend Tony Apapadopoulos (who will be joining her stable of vendors in short order) instead. We made some great mutual connections through this friendship of ours! That said, Suzie kept in touch with me through the year I began planning the wedding and upped her dedication when she found out we let go of our planner a week before the wedding for being non-committal and providing sub-par service.

Additionally, Suzie was always wonderful to work with while I was trying to schedule myself, my two mothers and my ten bridesmaids in figuring out who needed hair and makeup services! Although less than half of us scheduled for day-of services (due to this bad economy and despite Suzie's more than reasonable rates), Suzie and her team (Van!) did a fantastic job in showing up on time, doing a beautiful job on all our makeup and hair and touch-up after the ceremony.

The one feedback I have is to make sure mothers are happy with their services. My mother-in-law is extremely polite and was hoping for more direction with her fine permed hair. Unfortunately when this type of hair is serviced, the desired effect doesn't always happen. I would just advise Suzie and her team to make sure that the end result is what the customer wants and to keep asking until they get the truth if they sense that the client is leaning towards something else *_*

All in all, I feel blessed I met Suzie and that she introduced me to her professional team of wedding service vendors. They truly made our wedding fantastic and we received nothing but compliments for the entire wedding! Suzie and her ladies made me feel really beautiful on my wedding day. They are extremely professional, and everyone kept complimenting me on the gorgeous make-up and hair design they did for all 5 of my bridesmaids and myself.

I loved everything they did, they air-brushed my tattoo on my back and made me feel like a queen--and I was smiling throughout the whole night! It was definitely worth the money to get this kind of help!
