Sub Zero Ice Cream

We started a New York Burrito franchise in Orem, Utah. A current trend in the food industry is a deli style. Deli style means giving the customer more choices, and the product is fresher (made in front of the customer). We had space available in our current store, so we started looking for a way to provide ice cream and other frozen deserts. We looked at a marble stone concept but determined that if the ice cream was already frozen it would reduce the choices. Reflecting on my science background, I decided to use a cryogenic solution. This way we stock only fresh cream mixes and allow the customer to determine what flavor to have mixed in. This way the customers get to determine what flavors they prefer and how strong the flavoring will be. They also get to pick the texture since we can control how frozen it gets. Truly custom ice cream.

Our secret is Cryogenics, the science of ultra cold where we use direct contact freezing. Our process takes a matter of seconds. This is the best and fastest ice cream you will ever see or taste. (patent pending) This increase the options and makes a completely customized ice cream per person. Nothing is frozen before you order. Over 25,000 options.

Catering advantages are you don't pay for what you don't serve. Most caterers charge you for what you estimate versus what you actually serve. This is usually 20 to 50% greater. We charge less than in the store and no more than is actually served.

Cost of on site:

  • $50 setup fee
  • $3.00 per serving
  • Minimum 30 servings
  • If outside 30 miles, mileage charge may apply ( $0.36 per mile)
