Laurie and I first met in Symmes Hall during our freshman year at Miami University. We grew closer over the years and even took some fun trips together, including a run to Chicago to see friends and eventually a Spring break adventure out to Colorado. Our friendship has consisted of fun antics and genuine, heartfelt conversations about life. Little did we know that just a few short years later, we would probably make the biggest choice of our lives. We decided to pack up our cars as tight as we could, bought some walkie-talkies, and made the cross-country trip out to our new home in Colorado. Believe it or not, we are both still here! Over the years we remain close despite the many changes in our lives, and I know I can always trust her to be there when I need her the most.

Jill is one of my sisters, who happens to be a twin. She lives in our hometown of Olmsted Falls, Ohio and will be flying out the week of to join me on our big day. Six years younger than me, we are only beginning to connect in several ways. I am hoping this experience only brings us closer. She is extremely ambitious and devotes herself to whatever commitments she takes on. I am looking forward to (and relying on) her spoiling me in the months, weeks, and days leading up to my wedding, as I know that she secretly loves weddings more than just about anyone else I know and she is good at tending to the bride!
Julie

Julie is my sister- also a twin! She currently lives in Pittsburgh, PA with her boyfriend and is in PT school. She is an extremely hard worker, and I admire her ability to speak her mind. She is true to her mid-western roots and is a big sports fan...quite the opposite of me! I am thrilled that she is standing by my side on my big day! It will be pretty chaotic for her, admist a clinical here in Colorado, but I am looking forward to her moving in with us even for a few weeks! I am excited about having a family member close by, especially to help me out with all of our wedding details!
Colleen
Bridesmaid
Colleen and I go WAY back! It all started in Ms. Scudder's dance class! Although we went to grade school together, we truly became close starting in about the sixth grade and then we were pretty much found in the same spots until we parted ways after high school. There truly are more memories than I can even begin to list! Colleen and I have always had fun just relaxing and being ourselves- day in and day out- from the exciting to the mundane. She always knows how to turn any situation into a good time! I had the honor of standing up at her wedding two years ago and now she is returning the favor, despite the fact that she will just have given birth to a little "Reed Seed" a mere five weeks before our wedding (if all goes as planned)!
Lindsey
Best Man
Lindsey and Sam grew up together, but never really connected until after high school. Now they share the same brain! Although he lives in Iowa, he makes frequent visits to us here in Colorado, for which we are grateful (Yes, Leslie too...) Lindsey and Sam hiked Longs Peak together among many other adventures. This summer they plan to go on a backpaking trip through the Rocky Mountains.
Josh
Groomsman
Josh is Sam's oldest brother. He currently lives in Nashville, TN and is in a band while working at a local restaurant. He is an extremely talented musician and will even be helping us out with some acoustic performances for our ceremony! He is a riot and always makes us laugh! He knows how to have a good time.
Doug
Groomsman
Doug is Sam's older brother. The two have always been close, and Sam even moved out to Colorado to be with his big brother, Doug. He is chiropractor and even lived with Leslie and Sam for quite awhile while in Colorado. He is now living in Minnesota and we can't wait to see him and have him join us on our big day! We miss him dearly!
Adam
Groomsman
Adam is one of Sam's good friends here in Colorado. Although he is also from Iowa, it was not until Adam started working with Sam that the two realized their combined potential for ridiculousness! They have a good time and just "get" one another...even when no one else does! We often go out with Adam and his wife, Sara, for fun nights, good food, and tasty wine. We also share a love for our four-legged friends.
