The Mission Statement of the Taos Historic Museums is to promote the history, heritage, and cultural arts of Northern New Mexico through the education and the preservation of our unique historic structures and collections.
The home is filled with a superb collection of the Blumenschein family's art, a representative sampling of works by other famous Taos artists, fine European and Spanish Colonial style antiques, and the family's lifetime of personal possessions.
There are two main rooms in the Stables Building. The Stables Gallery is 1205sf and the Carriage House 576sf. There is a small kitchen and bathroom. The Taos Center for the Arts Office uses the bathroom Monday - Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 5 p.m.

The Cooperage has private rooms that seat as few as 10 or as many as 250. We will arrange a menu to accomodate your luncheon or dinner group. Cocktail/Hors d'oeuvres parties, sports banquets, wedding buffets, or sit down dinners are just a few of the many affairs we can arrange.
