It's Music City USA. If you can't find something to do here, then something is seriously wrong. We have historical sites, parks, shopping, restaurants, and museums galore. There are so many, we cannot even going to list them all here. Instead we suggest you visit the following three sites for a listing of all area attractions, below that are the ones that we recommend:

This is the home of Andrew Jackson, 7th President of the United States. The home itself is beautiful, but the gardens are what we really love to visit.
Cheekwood Botanical Gardens are very beautiful, and well worth a visit.
We've listed this on our Accomodations page to the left. Even if you don't stay here, it is well worth a visit. Sarah and I usually visit 5 times a year so we can get out of the heat or the cold, and go for a pleasant meal and a stroll.
When Sarah and Jenn feel like they are missing their family, they visit the Zoo.
The Parthenon is a really neat place to go for a quick stroll around a park. The Parthenon is a full scale replica of the original Parthenon in Greece, and inside is a full scale replica of the goddess Athena.
The Country Music Capitol of the world has a museum to it's main industry. Whodathunkit?
The Opry is located in the same area as the Opryland Hotel and Mall. This has been the spot where all famous country music musicians and singers eventually sing at.
The Frist art museum almost always has some sort of interesting art exhibit, ranging from Ancient Egyptian funerary practices, to Medieval Art, to the Sculptures of Rodin. We highly recommend going for a visit at some point during your stay here, and then finishing up with a stop at the Flying Saucer, a wonderful bar with over a hundred beers and wonderful waitresses.
This is the place to shop for all your organic produce needs. And since it'll be October, this is THE place to get your pumpkins. It's almost like getting lost in your very own pumpkin patch.
