After a week of instant messaging, emails, and some long phone calls, Jennifer asked me out on a date. I was so nervous. I started getting ready 3 hours before time to leave. When I got to her house, I thought it couldn't be the right address. The front yard was so beautiful. It was filled with irises and herbs and long trailing vines. I ascended the steps and knocked on the door. The woman who opened the door was as tall as I was and more beautiful than any woman I had ever seen. I knew I wanted to marry this woman and live with her in this beautiful garden.

In May of 2010, a terrible flood affected the city of Nashville. Early in the morning, I woke Jenn up because water was beginning to come in the house. The two of us worked together to sandbag and divert water, saving the house from further destruction. 3 ducks died because of the pollution in the water. We lost some clothes and other things, but overall we were very lucky. We came out of it just fine.
