Marnie's cousin-in-law cum confidante. Her ending up with the position was a no-brainer because of her closeness to, not just Marnie but Ver, as well. Don't let the kilay fool you -- she's really a softie at heart! A superb wife and mother, an exemplary daughter, a funtabulous friend - what more can a bride-to-be ask for? Marnie's cousin/friend. When the gap between ages disappear and friendship sets in is a mystery - Alma used to be the little girl in their batch of cousins (she still has a bit of that naivete to this day!) and we're not sure when she became that "nene" turned friend, but we're glad it happened! We're thrilled that Alma said yes to being Marnie's Maid of Honor.

Ver's fraternity brother/best bud since college. One of the very few people with whom Ver learned the true meaning and value of friendship. They have been together through the good and bad times -- even in near death experiences! As the holder of Ver's best-kept secrets, it's only fitting that he should also be the keeper of the rings!

Ver's friend since childhood - another example of age-gap-disappearance-as-long-as-interests-are-similar. Ü They lived in the same neighborhood until Ver moved to Cavite a few years back. Ver had a lot of "firsts" courtesy of this guy like having his first pair of Nike Air, first TGIF and Racks meals and the list goes on and on. Their close camaraderie has remained through regular basketball games and 2-bottle-sessions! He actually influenced Ver to go healthy with the brown rice diet and regular exercise (albeit the cheat days for drinking Ü) We can't wait to see you don that suit with your new buffed bod!

Jen has been a great friend of Marnie's exactly 1 day longer than Ver and Marnie have known each other. Eventhough they're in different groups now, they still get to keep in touch especially in moments that really matter. Ü A dedicated mountaineer who's forever inviting Marnie to join climbs - well, lalo ng hindi maka-join ngayon what with the preps and all! Sana next year! ;-)

They started as seatmates in the office, progressed to carpool to dinner-buddies to badminton-mates to life-centered conversations. Though Jhem and Marnie's friendship began only in 2006, it has come a long way in terms of depth. They've been through the same stress at work (project deadlines and launch horrors!), the same cycles of life ("nasa taas ka ba ng gulong or sa baba?" "Pumutok na yung gulong. Mags na lang naiwan!"), the same interests (Heath Champion and Dean Robillard - hello!!), the same goals ("Jhem, part ng KPI ko hanapan ka ng BF this year ha.." "Arbie, ano ka ba. Di lang ikaw, pati si mama!") Thanks, Jhem, for being part of this momentous occasion!

Now officially Marnie's kumare, Kay is one of her long-time friends from college. Despite living within a few buildings of each other for 2 years, their friendship only deepened after graduation - Countess was more into Braddom's and Sullivan's Physical Rehabilitation textbooks than chit-chatting like Marnie at those times! Though they see each other less and less, it seems absence is the same with friendship as it is with the heart - it makes it grow fonder! Here's to the new mommy and to old and lasting friendships!

One of Marnie's god-children, Gela is the daughter of Matron of Honor, Cherry Ann. She is as michievous and pugnacious just as she is clever and talented (yep, you can tell even if she's just 2 turning on 3!) Strong-willed and witty like her Ninang, she's sure to bring the house down with her antics every time there's a family gathering. Can't wait to see her strut down that aisle!

Here's a charming addition to the entourage, Bianca is Marnie's god-daughter through Ceevee, one of her closest chums since college. Bianca can be shy at first but not when Tito Ver and Ninang Marnie is around! Although they seldom see each other, she is all chatter and talent-sharing when they do. Ceevs has even seen Bianca pretending to be on the phone with them a couple of times. With her pretty face and outgoing personality, she's bound to be a hit when it's her turn to sashay down the aisle!

The youngest daughter of Marnie's kumare who's been her friend since highschool (that's about 15 years already!) Maxine captured Marnie's eye with her shy and sweet disposition when they first met, she was just turning 2 at that time but her eyes promised the cleverness she now possesses. In a few years, she's gonna be breaking a lot of hearts - her Daddy had better keep an eye out!
