Just a few ideas for the ceremony and reception.
This is a Charm City Cake, and while I couuld never spend so much on a cake (nor do I live anywhere near Baltimore) I would love to get Shane something like this! He would flip out!
Cake topper, from E-bay
The dinner menu is:
Pork tenderloin or Chicken Monterrey
Apple walnut salad with raspberry vinaigrette or ceasar salad
Deviled Eggs
Mashed potato bar (chives, sour cream, cheddar, bacon bits, etc).
Rolls with homemade honey butter and strawberry butter
Sweet tea, fruit tea, raspberry lemonade, water, coffee
We're doing cupcakes for our wedding instead of a traditional huge cake. I'm putting the cupcakes on silver cake stands, similar to these, except I bought mine where I used to work for about $8 each.
They won't be pretty, but they'll definitely be yummy!! Here's our flavors:
1. Chocolate cupcakes with Oreo buttercream frosting
2. Chocolate cupcakes with Peanut butter frosting
3. Vanilla cupcakes filled with chocolate ganache and vanilla icing
4. Chocolate cupcakes with marshmallow icing
5. White cupcake with lemon cream filling and caramel icing
I can't wait!!
This is the stand our cake will go on, since we're just having a two-tier cake for the cake cutting. I love it!
Finally decided on a cake!
It will be buttercream instead of fondant, and will not have those play-doh people on top!
**Disclaimer** It's all country :)

P.S. For a super effin awesome, top 50 wedding country songs, e-mail me and I'll be happy to pass them on. It's all of my own compilation, but it's good love songs and upbeat current stuff.
Picked these up at Hobby Lobby half price for like $10
Ordering these with custom pink and brown beading from etsy seller GlassBoxMenagerie. I'm also sending her my flutes to add the same beading to them. Love them all!

Top Ten Most Popular Wedding Shots
1. Classic Wedding Party. This shot should include the bride, groom, maid of honor, best man, groomsmen/ushers, bridesmaids, flower girls and ring bearers. It is usually taken at or outside the ceremony site. Traditionally, parents are not included in this photograph.
2. Family Shot. This important family picture includes the bride and her parents and the groom and his parents. The shot may or may not include siblings. Traditionally, the bride and groom stand together, with their parents flanking them on either side.
3. The Bride And Groom's Hands. This traditional picture is usually taken just before the cake is cut. Typically, the bride's left hand is placed over the groom's left hand, and positioned so the rings are in perfect view.
4. The Bride And Parents. Traditionally, this picture is taken before the ceremony. The bride usually is positioned between her parents. If the bride's parents are divorced, she may decide to pose with her parents separately, or with their new spouses.
5. The Groom And Parents. Traditionally, this picture is taken before the ceremony. The groom usually is positioned between his parents. If the groom's parents are divorced, he may decide to pose with his parents separately, or with their new spouses.
6. The First Dance. This picture is taken during the reception as the couple dances their first dance together. It can be candid or posed.
7. Cutting The Cake. This traditional wedding moment is usually captured in a series of photographs that include the cake cutting, the bride and groom feeding each other the first bite, and sometimes, smashing the cake into each other's mouths.
8. The First Kiss. Taken during the ceremony, this candid picture captures the moment the officiant proclaims, "You may now kiss the bride."
9. Down The Aisle. This photo is taken during the ceremony, and includes the bride and her escort as they walk down the aisle.
10. The Newlyweds Escape. This candid picture is traditionally taken as the bride and groom exit the ceremony location. It is almost always an action shot.
I really wanted to keep my ering on for the ceremony, and I've found some wording that will incorporate my ering into the ceremony:
Officiant:
FI, please take the engagement ring.
This ring is the symbol of promise and intention.
Now the intention is realized and the promise fulfilled.
Please place this ring on her finger over her wedding band to symbolize that the love that brought you together will always protect and sustain your marriage.
Let these rings serve not as locks binding you together, but as keys, unlocking the secrets of your hearts for each other to know, and thus bringing you closer together forever.
**Thanks to shanwalk for letting me borrow this!**
I will keep my ering on, slip it off as I get up the aisle, and hand it to my BM when I pass off my bouquet. She will hand it to FI after the first sentence. Love it!
Isn't this gorgeous?! The wedding will end about 10 pm, and the church has very little outdoor lighting, so bubbles are out. Also, anything tossed has to be picked up, and I ain't picking up a bajillion seeds or crushed rose petals. So, we're attempting sparklers.
Sparkler tips:
* Wrap the sparklers with ribbon, and hot glue some matches onto the ribbon. Hand out sparklers with your wedding programs.
* Keep a few galvanized pails full of sand handy for your guests to place their hot sparklers in after they are done with them.
* Instead of giving out matches, light one sparkler and have a designated sparkler lighter go around and light all the sparkers. This way, guests won’t have to fumble around with matches.
* There are lots of places online to purchase sparklers, including Sparklersonline.com.
