We're DIYing as much as possible, so right now all I have are ideas. I'll be posting more pics as things get done! Apparently this is just a catch-all for other stuff too.
The one DIY project that is almost finished, is my bouquet. It still needs a few finishing touches, but I like how it's looking!
I found a cheap runner at Wal-Mart that I want to paint with our monogram. Er, let me make that, that my fabulously talented invite designer is going to paint!
These are my DIY inspiration. I'm going to buy an invitation kit, with pink blank invites/RSVP cards, and back them with brown cardstock, and add the ribbon.
My wonderfully talented friend designed this for us. It will be pink and brown instead of pink and green, she did this when those were still my colors, and it hasn't gotten updated yet.
I may attempt to DIY these, but I love these from Etsy, if I decide not to.
I'm going to attempt these!
Thanks to knottie shananagins for letting me steal this pic!
Since we're DIYing the invites, we'll DIY the RSVP cards! Since I'm really worried about guests not knowing what to do with RSVP cards (they're not the norm in my area), I love this idea from Knottie bel138 (and before that, Frankie's). Thanks for letting me borrow this idea bel (and Frankie :D)!
It's a little hard to see, but it reads as follows:
R.S.V.P
(Arrow) Yes! Looking forward to it!
(box) Name (box)
(box) Name (box)
(box) Name (box)
Sorry! Can't make it! (arrow)
Please send these flying back to us no later than (RSVP date)
Thank you!
Since our church is really two large buildings, I want something to make the building we're using stand out. I want signs too, but I love this wreath. I don't think it'd be too hard to make, I'm just not sure what to back the flowers on.
These aren't DIY, at all, but I don't know where to stick them.
These came from VistaPrint.
Never pay for anything on VistaPrint! Sign up for their e-mails and you get stuff all the time!!
After much ado about nothing, I ended up with custom designed wraparound labels from jennknitskids on Etsy. She was awesome. They're going on light pink envelopes, to match the whole brown and pink theme. Don't worry, internet safety people! No real addresses were harmed :)
