Attractions
There are so many things to do while staying at Deep Creek Lake. Everything from biking, hiking, and boating to a mountain roller coaster and white water rafting. Check out some of the links below for more information. We certainly hope that you will be able to enjoy some of these activities while in town for our wedding. Adventure Sports Center International (ASCI)
For something more adventuresome, this is the place to be. ASCI offers a man-made white water rafting course at the top of the mountain. They are also home to the Mountain Coaster, a roller coaster also located on the mountain. In addition to these two attractions they also offer kayaking, rock climbing, geocaching, and more. Wisp Resort
The Wisp Resort is not just for skiing. They have a ton of summer activities that they offer as well. Some of these activities include golf, Segway tours, paintball, watersports, scenic chairlift rides, and more. Check their website for a complete list of activities and details.
Swallow Falls State Park
This park has gorgeous waterfalls and a nice trail that walks the loop around the falls.
Deep Creek Lake State Park
The Lake
The lake itself is a major attraction, and our homes for the week are conveniently located right on the lake. We have at least 2 boatslips on our properties and the ability to kayak or jet ski right out our back doors. There are also boat rentals that can be made ahead of time or during your stay.
