Wedding Accommodations
True budget lodging can be a bit hard to come by in Camden. We'll continue to look and seek out recommendations. In the meantime, below are some of the places we've either stayed at or heard good things about. If you do splurge on an inn or bed & breakfast in town, we promise you won't be disappointed!
Whitehall Inn
This is the classic Maine inn where the reception will be held. We are encouraging wedding guests to stay here if they can - it's a wonderfully comfortable hotel, and who wants to get in a car and drive after a night of dancing?
Wedding guests will receive a 10% discount off a one-night stay and a 15% percent discount off a two-night stay. Please contact us to get more information before you book.
Their beds and linens really live up to all the great reviews. Just a few words of advice - ask for extra towels on check-in, and ladies should be sure to bring their own conditioner!
Windward House
We've stayed here twice and the owners couldn't be nicer. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, and the breakfast is delicious. This inn is actually right across the street from the library and amphitheatre. Highly recommended!
Camden Harbour Inn
This place is fancy and luxurious, with an acclaimed restaurant and the best view of the harbor in town. Probably well worth the money if it is within your price range!
Hawthorn Inn
Located across the street from the Windward House, it is also close to the library and amphitheatre.
Hartstone Inn
Located on the other side of town, this bed & breakfast consistently receives rave reviews and is close to shopping.
The Belmont Inn
Located close to the Camden Harbour Inn and our favorite restaurant, Francine, this bed & breakfast has - wait for it - great reviews.
The Ledges by the Bay
By far the most affordable place we've found, Ledges by the Bay is located abut 10 minutes by car from the Whitehall Inn - and is right on the water!
