Erica, I came across this blog after seeing a random comment on one of Karens status' on facebook. Ive read every single blog now becasue you have just inspired me so much. I saw Erica on the Today Show and since my maiden name is Shippy, my ears perked up!! I don't often see the name of Shippy in many places. I am fron Michigan and wondered if you had any connections to the Michigan Shippy's. My father's name is Lester and he had a cousin named Neil Shippy, who I believe had a drug store in Grand Rapids, Michigan. Congratulations on your marriage.

Your BIG day is finally here! For weeks I've had fun working on your floral arrangements with your mom and Paulette assisting in anticipation of your wedding reception. It was so much fun finally seeing it come all together yesterday and I enjoyed so much being with your family and friends decorating the reception building and the candleabras at the church. Everyone there loves you and your family so much. It was one very special feeling being part of that group. Your mom and dad have anticipated your wedding day for so long and have wanted it to all be so perfect for you and Ryan. I know how important this day is and I'm so very happy for the two of you! Erica and Ryan, Thank you so much for sharing your adventure. As I read your posts, I could not help but think that this is a novel in the making. Erica your writing ability is incredible, your words are so descriptive that I, as the reader felt the love and other emotions come through the computer screen.
Ryan, as I read about Erica being particular, I could not help but remember you as a high school student taking a test. Yes, Ryan you were particular in that arena. I can remember watching you read, think about, and read the questions again.
I would agree that this match could only come from God's hands, as you two are the perfect complement to one another.
