There are infinite sights and activities to be discovered and enjoyed in our fine city. Here are but a few suggestions-
Labor Day Weekend
It's a clusterfuck down there, but sometimes worth the price of admission and hassle.
Susan has not only served up cool ones in the beer garden, but also performed an ensemble play ('Are We Scared?') there over the years.
Where the salt water meets the fresh.
Not to mention all the anadromous fish.
Ooh, and lovely botanical gardens, too.
Susan used to be an 'interpreter' here. And both she and Chris boated through too many times to count on their first job together (and where this story all begins.)
Cheaper than an Argosy Tour, but no bar.
Of course. This is a no brainer. If you only leave your hotel room for one reason not counting our wedding, it should be to go here.
Pier 59
Listen to the calls of our region’s orca whales. Stand within a circle of glowing jellyfish. Run your fingers along a sea anemone’s soft tentacles. Delight in the antics of the sea otters. Then come back for another visit — and an entirely different experience. At the Seattle Aquarium there’s always something fun to discover, and inspiration on how to help protect our marine environment
Colman Pool is a Seattle landmark you won't want to miss this summer. It enjoys a stunning setting on the beach, the pool is heated saltwater, and if that's not enough, it features the Giant Tube Slide!
Everett, WA
See where BIG planes are made.
About 30 min. north of Seattle, if traffic is on your side.
You know, you can Google this sort of stuff on your own, too.
Then we'll tell you if it's worthwhile or not.
