Farewell Party

A HUGE & gracious "Thank-You" to Iarik I. Izzarne for hosting our Good-bye Bash yesterday afternoon and well into the evening.  (*And to a lesser degree, Aaron A. as it's also his house, after all.  I'm sure he assisted Iarik in some manner with preparations.)

The site was colorful and unique; flush with a festive vibe, albeit a bit dangerous.  And his food and drink only added delightful detail to the celebration.  We couldn't have asked for a lovelier day for our final Seattle hurrah.

And "thanks!" to each and every one of you who were able to join us. It meant the world to share one of these last few days in town with so many who've meant so much to us over the years.

Not to sound too maudlin, know that while we are sad not to be sharing this city with you anymore, we treasure all that's occurred during our residence here. We'll regard all of these fond memories warmly as we look forward to new adventures.  And we certainly encourage friendships to continue over the state line.

Happy trails, indeed as we pack up wagon and stock and head down destiny's way.  We'll keep you posted on our progress.

And while I'm falling over myself with thanks- to all of you magical moving helpers on That Friday, thanks beyond thanks! From Jerry & Jourdan's sweet AM treats and smiles to Tallman's inimitable mid-day assist (lifesaving, really) to Nellis' (stillasyet) dump run to Lunchmeat & Kim's Veuve reward at the end of road- we say a hearty and grateful THANKS! (Also to Bert, Stephanie, Sam, Aaron, and Melissa) The impromptu party and final Pagliagi send off was bittersweet, but know we love you so and those dear memories will be with us always.
