Engagement Parties, Weddings, and more
This past weekend my Aunt Joni and Uncle John, being the wonderful people they are, had an engagement party/get-together for our bridal party out at their home in Yorkville. It was a great night and a great chance for everyone who could make it to get to know each other. As usual my aunt made some amazing appetizers and desserts, which everyone enjoyed. John and I had a great time getting to hangout with everyone and everyone else told us how much fun they had. It was a great night! Along with that, some other wedding updates are: I added to the website, decided on a videographer, got our engagement pictures, and booked our tasting. I added several new links on the website, including the bridal party, so check those out. We got our engagement pictures, which I am SO excited about, and they looked amazing. Our photographers truly did an amazing job, I can only imagine what they will do for the wedding. After the long debate I made about whether or not have a videographer, I finally decided it would be worth it. I met with a lady and immediately clicked with her. I love the work I've seen her do and she is absolutely on the same page as me for what I'm looking for. Finally, we also booked out tasting for the food for the reception. I'm excited about this because we will finally get to show our parents the place we are having our reception!! I've been trying to get our moms there since we booked it and it just hasn't worked out. I think it will be a fun night for all of us; with what I hear (and truly hope) is great food!
That's really all the updates I've got for now. This weekend John and I are off to the town where we met, Galesburg, for a wedding of some friends from college. This is wedding #2 of 12 over about 18 months! It should be a great weekend with our friends.
