I have become so frustrated with some of the wedding attire. What I thought would be two easy finds, have turned in to two difficult tasks. The first one was the flower girl dresses. I thought I wanted the most simple, traditional flower girl dress for little girls, however, that proved to be abnormal. I thought it would be easy to find such a traditional dress, but the only ones I could find were the extremely over priced dresses in the bridal shops. And if I did find one I liked, they had it in Emma's size, but not Kendall's! Finally, after Lisa and I looked at probably hundreds of dresses with obnoxious flowers, spaghetti straps (if any at all), sequins and ruffles, I think we have found the perfect dress for the girls.
The other difficulty we have run in to, is finding a tie for the guys. Men's Wearhouse didn't seem to have a tie which John liked. So we have been searching all over the internet to find this perfect tie which John has envisioned but does not exist. Well at least not at a decent price if you're planning on buying 6-9 of them. We have found one, but we were hoping we could find a better price for it. I guess I shouldn't complain, because at least we have an option. But first I think we'll check out some local department stores to see if we can find some good deals or something. Anyways, enough venting about this.
On a side note, I put our order in for our invitations and just found out today that they are going to have a proof ready for us in a few days! Much faster than I was expecting.
Other than that, my test is in about 10 days, so time for me to hit the books and put the wedding planning to the side for a bit.
