My mother requires me to tell you that we have won 3 national awards (National Modern Bride 2006 & 2007 and Best of the Best - The Knot) and have played for numerous celebrities including Wayne Newton, Joan Rivers and even one U.S. President! While she's very proud of me, all that really matters to us is doing an outstanding job for YOUR wedding!

David Rothstein Music has grown so quickly because we treat each client as if they are the only wedding we have all year. We know that every bride and groom is different. Some are more formal, some more casual. From huge bridal parties to no intros, love Dancing Queen to hate Dancing Queen, it's all up to you.

David Rothstein Music performs only custom-tailored weddings. Other bands will treat you as an account number or a date on their calendar. Not us. We know that you are someone's daughter, someone's best friend, not just some event on the 14th. You deserve better!

David will act as your Emcee and Wedding Coordinator. He will organize all of your wedding vendors so you can concentrate on each other, your family, and your friends. David looks out for every aspect of your wedding, not just the music. Last summer we played a wedding where one of the ushers got sick. David quickly filled in and ushered in the bride's entire family without thinking twice. He saved her ceremony. She was so thankful!

David Rothstein Music has a complete ceremony music department. They are separate from the reception musicians. This way you will have experts in classical music for your ceremony. You will also have your own ceremony music consultant to help you select the repertoire. Since they are separate musicians, you'll be able to have a smooth transition from the ceremony to the cocktails without any delay. The cocktail musicians will begin playing in the adjacent room or nearby venue as soon as the ceremony is over without any delay in moving instruments and musicians from room to room.

A professional sound system will be set up and tested 2-3 hours ahead of your reception. Two sound engineers will fine tune the sound throughout the evening. All your guests will feel comfortable whether they are dancing or simply socializing.

If you would like any songs not in our current repertoire, we have an arranger who can provide you with any requests you’d like free of charge. David selects the perfect time to play each song during the actual performance. He watches the crowd and chooses the next song based on what your guests are actually dancing to, not what worked last week. Music Made Fresh. No preset lists like most bands.
