
The spot where we got engaged was very, very similar to this one. Same kind of view, with a road running through the valley. This particular picture, though, was taken on the way up to the proposal spot, when Lauren was still completely clueless as to what was about to happen.

Ashley packed us a beautiful little lunch of sausage, crackers, cheese, grapes, and sparkling cider, complete with a vase and pressed white tablecloth.

Our families stopped to eat and celebrate at The Motherlode Lodge, near Hatcher Pass. The view was gorgeous!
On our way home, a beautiful rainbow appeared!
