For the last eighteen years, Leslie and I have done literally everything together. She is truly my best friend, and we know each other inside and out. We learned ballet and violin together, shared a room for twelve years, made up sign languages after being told not to stay up late talking when we were little, discussed everything from the Constitution to the best way to skim the cream off of milk, and spent hours and hours working alongside each other on thousands of different tasks and projects. Leslie has always been a tremendous encouragement to me, and has consistently challenged me to look at everything from a Biblical point of view. She is known by Tait as "The Fount of Wisdom," for her many little wise sayings and original proverbs.

I couldn't ask for a better sister, and am more thankful than I can express to the Lord for giving her to me. She has been a wonderful blessing since she arrived when I was just fifteen months old, and I look forward to many, many more years of friendship and sisterhood with this virtuous young lady!

"She openeth her mouth with wisdom; and in her tongue is the law of kindness."

Esther is a wonderful friend to discuss things with, and I've enjoyed bouncing wedding ideas off of her. She is an amazing photographer, and has done a phenomenal job on our personal paparazzi team. She loves to tease Tait and me endlessly, but we keep reminding her that her time will come one day.

Esther is 17, and is an invaluable member of her family's real estate team. When I call her, I am usually greeted by a very sweet, very professional voice saying, "IEC Realty, this is Esther. How may I help you?"

Esther is going to be a wonderful sister, and I look forward to lots of great times together!

Ashley is such a sweetie! The last day that my parents and I were in Alaska, Tait and I were spending our last few hours together talking on a bench in their backyard. We looked up to see Ashley walking towards us with a lovely, beautifully arranged tray of tea in her hands. How thoughtful!

She is very handy with a computer, and kindly designed our beautiful save-the-date cards. She also works diligently in her family's real estate business. She has such a servant's heart, and shows Christ's love in countless different ways. She is 19, just a few months younger than I am. How I look forward to having her as my own almost-twin sister!

I've never heard of an "infant bridesmaid" before, but thought I would invent the position for my one-year-old sister, since I wanted each of my precious sisters and sisters-to-be to be in my wedding.

I have cherished every second spent taking Katelyn Grace for morning walks, reading Scripture to her, swinging her at the playground, singing to her, and rocking her. I love her darling little smiles and gurgly little laughs, her adorable little yawns and cute little sneezes. She has added so much joy to our lives over the past year! Although we wonder at times what the Lord's purpose for the Down syndrome and epilepsy may be, we trust that He has a plan for our little baby's life. What a sweetheart!
