There are a lot of hotels in this area since Burlington is so awesome and everyone wants to visit here. I recommended a couple, but feel free to do your own research:)

It is located in Downtown Burlington and is walking distance to the Lake Champlain Waterfront and Church Street Pedestrian Mall where you will find tons of restaurants, bars, and shopping.

This hotel is overlooking Lake Champlain and Marriott is a green hotel chain and part of the Vermont Fresh Network (that means they get a percentage of their food from local Vermont farmers). It is a short walk to the Church Street Pedestrian Mall where there are tons of restaurants, bars, and shopping.
This hotel is located 25 minutes from the Old Lantern.

This campground is right on the lake and is extremely affordable. You have to stay 2 nights. The beach is just a short walk and you can swim, rent kayaks, or just hang on the beach. You can walk to downtown Burlington on the bike path.
