This is the blog where you can learn all about how we planned a green wedding so you can be inspired to live a greener life! It will be funny too because we are funny.
My wedding shower was this past Sunday at Cuban Pete's in Montclair, NJ. It was fabulous! My sister and my parents did a great job planning this event and they had all of my values in mind. The seating cards had a dress on them that you can plant and wild flowers will grow! How cool is that? All the guests were asked to re-use something to wrap our presents and the most creative person would win a prize. I got gifts wrapped in everything from socks, to...
While I was walking I had a great idea involving RSVP's. Our RSVP cards are post cards made from tree-less paper which I thought was really cool. Our guests have the option of sending the card back to us or they can RSVP on the website. I was thinking...if they RSVP on the website then a stamp is getting wasted. Instead of sticking the stamp on the card, we are going to just put a stamp inside the envelope. Then if you RSVP online you get a free stamp! ...
One of our passions in life is supporting local businesses and artists and our wedding is not an exception to the rule. Actually it is a way to support even more local vendors and artists. If you are going to spend a lot of money on an event, why not support the people and community you love? Here are some of our vendors.

She totally got me and didn't freak out when I busted out my feather boa and said, "My dress has to go with this!" She understood that I was going to have a green wedding and brought me almost all samples. To be honest I wasn't planning on getting a dress at...

I am trying on dresses this weekend and I'm so excited! Oh this is Taraleigh:) Dan and I are untraditional in many ways, but I will be the one wearing the dress and Dan a suit. At first I found this awesome dress that was made with organic materials , but it is made in Seattle, WA and has to be shipped accross the country and is made of new material. I love love love this dress, but I know that I can be a little greener than that. So, I am committed to...
