My Shower...I'm Clean!
My wedding shower was this past Sunday at Cuban Pete's in Montclair, NJ. It was fabulous! My sister and my parents did a great job planning this event and they had all of my values in mind.
The seating cards had a dress on them that you can plant and wild flowers will grow! How cool is that?
All the guests were asked to re-use something to wrap our presents and the most creative person would win a prize. I got gifts wrapped in everything from socks, to shirts, to juice boxes, to grocery store bags, to shoe boxes. It was awesome!!!
The center pieces were bamboo plants that guests got to take home.
The food was delicious and the staff was very accommodating to my gluten-freeness. The mojitos and sangria were fabulous. The games I got to play were so fun! Everyone had a great time and that made me really happy!
See...it's not that hard to incorporate eco-friendly ideas at every event you throw!
