Bend in January is a beautiful place and a cooooold place. We have listed several accomodations of varying prices that all are warm and cozy. We wouldn't suggest something that we, personally, wouldn't like to stay at. :)
Below is the link to a very informative site with all of Bend's lodging. I would recommend checking this site out in addition to our suggestions. There are so many options we couldn't list all of them!

For those of you who feel like being adventurous and trying the winter-camping thing, Tumalo State Park has yurts available for rent which (we can attest to) that are very cozy and fun. This has more details on the yurts: http://www.oregon.gov/OPRD/PARKS/rustic.shtml
*If we had to recommend anything, it would be this place! Cheap, fun, and in the snow!
And a good map of the campground:

If you are staying in Bend, this lodge is quite close to Tumalo Creek. It is right on the Deschutes River.
A fun experience. They offer a fun experience in the downtown Bend area. Food, entertainment, and comfortable lodging all in one. Within walking distance of downtown. Very close to Tumalo Creek!
The Sunriver Lodge is absolutely beautiful. It is located about 15 miles South of Bend off of Highway 97. If you intend to stay in the Central Oregon area for a few days and are interested in staying in Sunriver, this is the place to stay. Wonderful lodging, great food, cozy ambiance, and fun attractions nearby such as the Sunriver Village, Mt. Bachelor, and the High Desert Museum.
