Pasadena
Located beneath the lofty San Gabriel Mountains, Pasadena is a charming and attractive place year-round.
The hotel we'll be staying at is in Old Pasadena, a bustling 20-block shopping and entertainment district, not to mention the Paseo Colorado Mall which is 2 blocks away.
Huntington Library, Art Collections & Botanical Gardens - Visit this lovely place to explore the Japanese, the Desert Garden, the Rose Garden or to admire the 18th-century paintings among many others.

Laguna Beach
Here you'll find secluded coves, romantic cliffs, azure waves and plenty of galleries.
Santa Monica
Head to Santa Monica for the lively pier, miles of sandy beaches, fun shopping and great restaurants.
Malibu

Beverly Hills
You've seen it in the movies: the glittering streets, the chic boutiques and posh restaurants. Go for a drive up in the hills and canyons north of Sunset Blvd to see some of the stars $million homes.
San Diego
Torrey Pines State Reserve - This is a beautiful place we visited, it has amazing views of the ocean and you can hike down to the beach.

Balboa Park - with its museums, gardens and world-famous zoo, Balboa Park tops the list of sights in the downtown area.

San Diego Zoo - this famous zoo is one of Southern California's biggest attractions, showing more than 3000 animals, representing over 800 species in a beautifully landscaped setting, typically in enclosures that replicate their natural habitats.

Legoland California
This is for Prerna and Abhishek :) According to the guidebook, this is an enchanting fantasy environment built entirely of legos. It might be full of kids, but just to know, it's there.
Desert Ramblings - Joshua Tree National Park
If going into nature is more your style, then say goodbye to civilization and head for one of the national parks like Joshua Tree with its whimsical trees.
