It is a very cute, family run, "Laguna Beach vibe" hotel that is only about a 2 blocks walk from the wedding venue. There isn't a fee for parking. The hotel offers awesome ocean views with big remodeled rooms and a private path down to the sand. This hotel also has the best rates in Laguna for the quality you receive.
I have been over to the hotel twice now searching for the best rooms for all our guests. I have come up with a list of a variety of rooms, some are one bedroom suites and others have a private deck. Each room varies in price since they all have slightly different features. Under the reservations tab at the top of the home web page, click on "Check Room Availability" and each room rate is listed once
you enter the dates. All the rooms we have on hold are listed as unavailable so don't pay attention to that. I have arranged with the hotel to hold the rooms I have pre-selected until December 11th under the Duley/Carter block.
They will not hold them after that since it is a popular time of year for them. You are still welcome to reserve a room after that date but there may not be such a wide selection as there is now. Each room can be reserved with a credit card and a one night stay deposit. The cancellation policy is only 48 hours notice and the deposit will be refunded if canceled before then. They are requiring a deposit since they have been "burned" in the past with late cancellations. If we reserve 10 rooms under the Duley/Carter block then we will get a 10% discount on each room and if we get to 15 rooms there is a 15% discount per room. The discount will be applied once it gets much closer to the wedding date. Just please say that you want to book under Duley/Carter block to receive the discount.
The site also has a property layout at the bottom of the page under the accommodations tab that shows what the room capacity is (scroll over the room number and it will show all features of the room).
The room numbers of the best rooms are: 304, 401, 402, 403, 404, 505, 506, 507, 508, 514, 516, 517. All the rooms are great but these have the best ocean/surf views and sizes. Rooms start at about $170-230 for the rooms listed without the discount. Cheaper rooms are available with a side or garden view.

This is also another very nice hotel with a view of the main beach, on the ocean side of the street. It would be about a 15 minute walk, slightly uphill to the venue. Street side rooms start at about $170 and ocean view rooms start at about $250. The rooms are a bit small for the price and there is a $13 daily fee for parking. We do not have an alert or block here so therefore would not be able to offer any discounts.
