It was a cool January Saturday morning and Ted and I were planning to play tennis together. Little did I know that is was going to be more than just tennis and Ted was waiting for the sun to come out. So after postponing our tennis date long enough, we played a few games together without the sun. As we were packing up our things and talking about where we were going to go to lunch, Ted got down on one knee and proposed! I just stared at him in disbelief without saying a word. Ted had wanted to wait until the sun came out to show off the true sparkle of the engagement ring but even without the sun, it was gorgeous! Finally, Ted said you are supposed to say something here... "Of course, of course," I said. We spent the rest of the day calling all our family and friends to tell them of the good news.
