On Sunday, we had our one and only wedding shower...wow!!! We were blessed with a large crowd (175-200) and wonderful gifts that left us both speechless. We can not thank everyone enough for all the preparation that went into the shower and of course all the gifts that were given. We are a truly blessed couple and thank God everyday for all the wonderful people in our lives. We were registered @ two different stores and both registries were literally wiped out! Here...
Less than 100 days until the wedding and I am in major plan mode! Here is something that we will be incorporating into the wedding since we aren't using much color: I absolutely love damask! My (soon to be our!) bedding is the same print. It also matches our website background, save-the-date magnets, and our invitations (possibly programs too!). I just love the idea of having some patterns and not just strict colors for the decorations! Here are some things that...
Yes, I passed! It was such a relief: now I can get on with planning this wedding and life can get back to normal. I feel like all I did for 1 month was STUDY, I am so happy to take a break from that! Thanks for all the thoughts and prayers, God was watching out for me and is all knowing. It has all been worth it!
Friends and Family, We have changed the location of the wedding ceremony and reception to Morgantown Community Church. We hope we have given everyone enough time to acknowledge the change. Thanks for your continued prayers and support, 106 days until I am a married woman!!!!
It was so nice to look outside Thursday morning and see the beautiful landscape covered with a blanket of white snow! Although they had been calling for it, I kept my emotions in check in case the predictions were false. We went sledding Thusday night and had the best time; there's nothing like a good sled ride! Here is our few pictures of our little cottage in the snow :)
We have finally got the house situated the way we want it (besides the tv cable running across the living room floor lol) and the to-do list has dwindled considerably. So...we decided to invite some friends and family that were in town to come and view our little home :). We are so happy that so many of our loved ones came to see our place..if you couldn't make it, we would be more than happy to show it to you sometime, we love to entertain! Here are some pictures from the...
We just got these and I think they are even more amazing than the first set! Julia does such an amazing job, I can't help but constantly sing her praises!
I want to take just a minute to do a little bragging on my extremely intelligent fiance! He had to take the Praxis test a month ago in order to receive his teaching certification. The Praxis I ® tests measure basic academic skills, and the Praxis II ® tests measure general and subject-specific knowledge and teaching skills...well, he passed both on the first try!!! I am so proud of him and this just reemphasizes the face that he has chosen the right...
Marcus and I went to visit our house on Tuesday and look @ what we found!
Aren’t they just beautiful? “Santa” dropped these off on an early run that he made. It is a four-setting collection with plate, bowl, serving plate, glass, and coffee cup. Santa also included some nice festive salt and pepper shakers and a fantastic centerpiece. She, I mean he J , really surprised us both! Thanks so much Shannon and Kay!
